We are a curriculum-based childcare and preschool in Lewisville, TX, serving children from 6 weeks to 10 years old. Who We Are
Future Scholars Preparatory got its start in 2013, when our founder, Laketta, opened her first home daycare while pursuing her degree in Social Work. She recognized the need for quality, dependable childcare in her community and committed herself to creating a space where children could feel safe, loved, and empowered to learn.
Over the years, Laketta grew her passion into a career, successfully opening and operating three preschools. In 2020, after relocating to Dallas, she continued expanding her vision. By 2025, she launched Future Scholars Preparatory, a full-service childcare and early learning center dedicated to the Lewisville community.
As both a childcare professional and a mother, Laketta understands what families need most: a safe, dependable place where children can thrive, and parents feel supported. Her background in healthcare and social work influences the center’s holistic approach, emphasizing emotional well-being, academic preparation, and strong family partnerships.
